Overview In this role you will manage the delivery of substation projects within a long-term framework in Hampshire, guiding planning, execution and closeout. You will coordinate site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to hit milestones safely and within budget. You’ll work across commercial, engineering and operations to keep stakeholders informed and align on HSE and quality standards. This is an opportunity to shape a growing Transmission & Distribution programme within an established contractor.
Pay / Benefits - 80,000-90,000 salary (DOE)

Responsibilities - Manage day-to-day delivery of substation projects across the framework
- Coordinate site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure safe and efficient work
- Manage project programmes, identify risks, and ensure milestones are achieved
- Monitor budgets and commercial performance throughout the lifecycle
- Collaborate with commercial, engineering and operations teams
- Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
- Ensure delivery aligns with health, safety, environmental and quality requirements
- Provide clear project reporting and communicate progress to stakeholders
- Support resolution of programme, technical and delivery challenges
Key requirements - Experience as Project Manager in construction, infrastructure, power or civil engineering
- Experience managing subcontractors, programmes, budgets and site delivery
- Civil or electrical engineering background
- Strong understanding of health, safety and quality requirements
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Previous substation experience desirable
- Experience on SSE projects desirable
